The Green River in north east Utah's Flaming Gorge Country is recognized as one of the Wests' Blue Ribbon trout rivers with estimates of 12,000 to 15,000 fish per mile! The river begins in Wyoming and enters the Flaming Gorge Reservoir then extends as a tailwater river for thirty miles eventually reaching Colorado.
There are three different fishing habitats designated as Sections A, B and C which are home to trophy sized rainbow and brown trout with some cutthroat too. Larry Basham will present this month's program showing photos of his experiences fishing the scenic Green River.
The red canyon walls, crystal clear water and abundant wildlife are only second to the brightly colored abundant trout. If you haven't fished the Green River, you'll put it on your bucket list after this program and if you have fished it, you'll want to go back again!
